# The options page

> Finding a stock, and reading its chart, Quick trade, chain, and stats.

There is no separate options list. **Each stock's page is its options page.** Click **Options** in the top bar to land on SPY, then switch stocks with search or the side panel.

## Finding a stock

* **Search.** Press **Ctrl/⌘ + K** or click the **Search markets…** pill. The **Options** section lists up to eight matches as "AAPL · Apple · Options" with the price and move.
* **Side panel.** On wide screens (1280 px and up), the left panel's **Stocks** tab lists stocks with chips **Watchlist**, **Trending** (default), **Most volume**, **Winners**, and **Losers**. Star a row to add it to your **Watchlist**, which is stored in your browser. On a phone, the same list is the **Stocks** tab of the **Feed** page.
* **Home.** The featured panel, the **Options** card row, and the **Options** movers card in the right rail all open stock pages.

Every stock token on Robinhood Chain with a trading pool has a page, including ETFs such as SPY, QQQ, and GLD. There are no index options and no crypto options. Nine stocks are featured on Home and on phones: AAPL, NVDA, TSLA, GOOGL, META, PLTR, COIN, SPCX, and SPY.

## Reading the page

On desktop the page has two columns, with the order panel sticky on the right. Top to bottom:

### Header

The logo, ticker, and name; an optional **thin** tag (tooltip "Only a thin pool prices this token"); tiles for **Volume** (USDG traded on-chain in 24 hours) and **Liquidity** (dollars in the token's pools); and the big price with the move, for example "▲ \$1.23 (0.45%) today".

### Chart

On-chain candles, with interval buttons **1m / 5m / 15m / 1h / D** (default 5m) and a **Candles** / **Line** toggle. Scroll to zoom and drag to pan. A phase pill reads **Market hours**, **Extended hours**, or **Overnight**; extended hours are tinted orange, and overnight, weekends, and holidays purple. Times are ET.

### Quick trade and Chain

A toggle switches between the two ways to pick a contract. Both show the same **expiry dropdown**, listing two dates such as "Thu, Sep 24" with "4:00 PM ET" beneath.

**Quick trade** asks "What does SPY \$765.43 (+0.45%) do by Thu, Sep 24?" and offers four outlooks:

| **Up**       | "finishes higher"      | A call at the first, second, and third strike above the price, titled "Above \$770"                                        |
| **Down**     | "finishes lower"       | A put at the first, second, and third strike below, titled "Below \$760"                                                   |
| **Volatile** | "big move, either way" | A call and a put together: a straddle at the price, plus strangles one and two strikes out, titled "Exits $760.12–$770.88" |
| **Neutral**  | "stays put"            | Sells a strangle. **Coming soon.**                                                                                         |

Each card shows its distance from the price ("+0.59%"), "NN% chance" (not on Volatile), "\$1.23 per contract", and the prices at which you would make "2× your money" and "5×". Click **Add to order** to load it into the order panel. If nothing is available, the card area reads "Nothing to offer for this outlook right now."

**Chain** shows all six strikes for the selected expiry:

| **Break-even** | "Where a bought contract has paid for itself"  |
| **% change**   | "The option's price move since the last close" |
| **Buy**        | "What one contract costs you"                  |

Calls sit on the left and puts, with the same columns mirrored, on the right, with **Strike** in the centre. Strikes are listed highest first with their distance from the price. A rule between the strikes above and below the price carries the current price in a white pill, and in-the-money cells are tinted green for calls and red for puts. **Clicking a Buy price selects that contract** into the order panel; it does not buy.

If the chain cannot quote, it says why: "Not quoting this expiry right now (inside the last 15 minutes)." or "(the on-chain price is stale)."

### Order panel, Positions, and below

The **order panel** is where you size and place the trade. See [Buying options](/options/buying-options). The **Positions** table lists your contracts on this stock. See [Positions & settlement](/options/positions-and-settlement).

Below them:

* **About** — the company description with **Show more**, plus Industry, Employees, Exchange, and Listed.
* **The SPY token** — the token explainer, with "Shares per token", "Priced from" (the number of pools, and "thin" if applicable), the token's contract address, and "Settles: 4:00 PM ET, on-chain price".
* **Stats** — Market cap (with P/E), Volume (versus average), On-chain liquidity, Day range, Previous close, 52 week range, and Dividend yield.

## On a phone

Phones show the chart, positions, and stats, but **not Quick trade or the chain**. On the nine featured stocks a docked bar with **▲ Up**, **▼ Down**, and **Up or Down** opens the quick-buy popup. See [Buying options](/options/buying-options#the-quick-buy-popup).
