# Navigating updown

> Home, the top bar, the phone tab bar, the side panel, and search.

There is no separate marketing site. The root of the app is **Home**, labelled **Explore** in the navigation, and it sits inside the app shell whether or not you are signed in.

## The top bar (desktop)

From left to right:

## On a phone

Phones have a centred **updown** mark with a ☰ button, and a floating tab bar:

The ☰ drawer has a search box, **Login** when signed out, and sections **Trade** (Options, Interval, Explore, Portfolio, Tournament, Feed), **Profile** (Profile, theme, Log out), and **More** (Contact us, Docs, Discord, X).

## The side panel (wide screens)

On screens 1280 px and wider, a left panel with three tabs follows you across the app:

* **Stocks** — a stock list with chips **Watchlist / Trending / Most volume / Winners / Losers**. Star a row to add it to your watchlist, which is stored in your browser. Rows open the stock's options page.
* **Leaderboard** — rolling boards for **24H / 7D / 30D / ALL** and the **Tournament**, with a **Full board →** link.
* **Feed** — the live trade feed.

## Search

Press **Ctrl/⌘ + K** or click the search pill. The placeholder reads "Search stocks, crypto and options…". Results are grouped into:

* **Options** — one row per stock, "Apple · Options", opening its options page.
* **Interval markets** — one row per subject, "Stocks · Up or Down", with cadence chips **5 min / 15 min / 60 min**. The row opens the 15-minute market.

Search covers only what updown trades. Nothing matching reads "Nothing matches “…”".

## Home

Top to bottom:

1. On phones, your balance with "\$X cash to trade" and a **Deposit** button.
2. **Patterns** — a ticker of markets on a streak, such as "Up 6 in a row".
3. The rotating **featured panel**, alternating between options and interval markets every 9 seconds.
4. Four **Up next** clocks: "5 min · Next window in", "15 min", "60 min", and "Options 0DTE · Expire in".
5. The **Options** card row with **See all**.
6. The **Stocks** and **Crypto** interval sections, each with **See all** to its category page.
7. A right rail with **Your positions** (or, signed out, **How it works** and **Sign in to trade**), **Options** movers, **Trending**, **Most volatile**, and **New**.

## The status bar

On desktop, a bottom bar shows an **Online** / **Offline** dot for the app's connection, plus **Contact us**, **Docs**, and the Discord and X links. On phones the same links live in the ☰ drawer under **More**.
