# Deposit & withdraw

> Fund your account with USDG on Robinhood Chain, USDC on Polygon, or a card or bank, and withdraw USDG any time.

Your cash is **USDG** in your own wallet on **Robinhood Chain**. You can deposit USDG directly, send USDC on Polygon and have it routed in automatically, or pay by card or bank. Withdrawals send USDG to any Robinhood Chain address. Gas is sponsored everywhere.

Click **Cash** in the top bar to deposit (on a phone, **Deposit** on Home). The **Withdraw** and **Deposit** buttons also sit on your Portfolio value card.

  Send only the asset shown, on the network shown. Other tokens or networks may result in permanent loss, and there is no in-app recovery. If it happens, contact [support](/help/support) with the transaction hash.

        In the **Deposit with** dialog, click **Crypto** ("Transfer USDC from a crypto wallet"). The first time, complete the **Allow trading** approval and click **Continue**. See [Account & profile](/account-and-profile#allow-trading).

        The dropdown offers **Robinhood Chain** (default) and **Polygon**. Arbitrum, Base, Solana, BNB Chain, and Ethereum are listed as **Soon**.

        The dialog reads "Send USDG on the Robinhood Chain network to this address." or "Send USDC on the Polygon network to this address.", with a QR code and the address to copy. The same address works on both chains.

        Polygon deposits are routed into your Robinhood Chain balance automatically. The dialog says so: "We route Polygon USDC into your Robinhood Chain balance automatically."

      <Step title="Watch it arrive">
        USDG on Robinhood Chain lands in your wallet and counts at once. A Polygon deposit shows "Detected \$X USDC — adding to your balance…", then "Adding your deposit to your balance…", and finishes with the toast **"Deposit added to your balance"**. You can close the dialog and come back.

      Sent less than the minimum on Polygon? The dialog reads "We received $X — send $Y more to reach the \$2 minimum." Your funds are safe in the meantime. If routing fails: "Deposit failed to convert — funds were not lost. Try again."

  <Tab title="Card or bank">
    Click **Card or bank** ("Debit, credit, Apple Pay or US bank"). A Stripe checkout opens. Identity checks, if any, are Stripe's.

    The purchase buys USDC that is routed into your balance automatically. While it arrives, the dialog reads "Waiting for your USDC" and then "Adding to your balance…". The minimum is **\$2**.

    > Card and Apple Pay purchases usually land within a few minutes. Bank transfers can take a few days. You can close this — we'll add it to your balance when it arrives.

    Withdrawals send **USDG on Robinhood Chain** to any address you choose. The dialog describes it as "Gas-free, usually instant."

      <Step title="Open the Withdraw dialog">
        Click **Withdraw** on your Portfolio value card. It shows your **Available** balance.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Enter the recipient">
        Paste the destination in **Recipient address (Robinhood Chain)**. It must be a valid 0x address.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Enter the amount">
        Type an amount in **Amount (USDG)** or click **MAX**. The minimum is \*\*$2**. The dialog shows **You receive** as "≈ $X USDG".

      <Step title="Confirm">
        Click **Withdraw**. The success screen reads **"Withdrawal confirmed"** with a **View transaction →** link to the Robinhood Chain explorer, and offers **Withdraw again** or **Done**.

      "Withdrawals are irreversible — double-check the address."
    </Warning>

    <Note>
      Cash reserved by open interval windows cannot be withdrawn until those windows settle. The dialog's **Available** and **MAX** show your full wallet, so a withdrawal that dips into reserved cash is refused with "Amount $X exceeds your available $Y (\$Z is committed to open positions)." Options reserve nothing, because the premium has already left your wallet.

  If your account holds a balance from before the move to Robinhood Chain, the Withdraw dialog shows a link to withdraw it as USDC on Polygon. Restricted accounts keep the ability to withdraw. See [Support](/help/support#restricted-accounts).
