Interval orders fill instantly at the live quote. On desktop the ticket sits in the right rail of the market page. On a phone, and from any card’s price button, it opens as a trade dialog with the live window chart on top.

The ticket

At the top sit a Buy / Sell toggle and an order-type dropdown with Quick Buy, Market, and Limit.

Quick Buy

Quick Buy is the default. Everything is a tap. The “win” figure is based on the prices actually available, so it is slightly less than the amount divided by the headline price whenever there is a spread.

Market

Limit

The Limit form is visible but not yet available. Its button is disabled, and the Portfolio Orders tab stays empty for the same reason.

The trade dialog

On a phone, the market page shows docked Buy Up 51¢ / Buy Down 49¢ pills. Tapping one, or tapping a price button on any card anywhere in the app, opens the trade dialog: the live window chart with its Target pill on top, a line such as “Apple (AAPL) 15 min · $331.67 target” with the countdown, and the same ticket as on desktop. An Open market page link goes to the full page. Signed out, the sign-in popup appears first.

Confirmation

After a fill, a Trade executed card appears:
  • Buys read “Bought 5.00∗∗Up∗∗@51¢"and"Pays5.00 **Up** @ 51¢" and "Pays 9.80 if Up wins”.
  • Sells read “Sold 4.90Up@49¢"and"+4.90 Up @ 49¢" and "+0.40 realized”, with ”· settling…” while the payout confirms.
  • A partial fill adds “Filled XofyourX of your Y — book was thin here”.
The card stays open with the take box (“Add your take”) until you Post or Skip. See Profiles & social.

How fills work

  • Taker fee. A small fee applies on every buy and sell, never on settlement. It is built into the price you see; there is no fee line. It is largest near 50¢ and shrinks toward 1¢ and 99¢.
  • Spread. At least 2¢, widening near 50/50 as the window runs out of time. The win and Max payout figures already include it.
  • Partial fills happen when liquidity is thin. You are told what filled.
  • Price protection. The app caps a buy at the shown price × 1.3 + 3¢ and floors a sell at the shown price × 0.7 − 3¢. If the average fill would breach that, the order is refused: “Price moved to 55¢ (above your 40¢ limit) — order not filled.” Try again at the new price.
  • No minimum order beyond a positive amount. Quick Buy starts at $1.

Selling back

You can close all or part of a position at any time before the window closes. You fill at the current bid, and the realized profit or loss is paid or collected immediately.
On the market page, tap Sell on your side’s row in the Live Positions panel. This sells that side’s whole position in the window.
You cannot sell more than you hold. Once the window has closed, the position settles automatically.

Errors you may see

The Live Positions panel marks your position at the current bid. The Portfolio page marks at the midpoint. A fresh buy looks roughly flat on Portfolio but slightly negative on the market page, and the two converge when you sell or settle.
